What does it mean to have everything and have nothing at all?

During the 7 years I worked as a journalist & editor in the fashion industry, my sole focus was giving advice and creating content that promotes the superiority of exterior beauty & fashion. I worked with great teams & had some amazing moments but I didn’t know what to do with it all. As the days went by, I grew frustrated and unable to articulate the frenzy in my mind; and the struggle to do something about it. The desire to produce something real & to be heard was constant but what was I saying? I could no longer recognize the girl with the big curious eyes, that dreamt for a world that cared for journalism; a world that respects the balance of beauty & substance.

It took awhile before confronting my body of work, to admit that I wasn’t helping anyone at all. I was unfulfilled and saddled with big dreams from my childhood, dreams that I had to carry, with little to no support. My work became a daily burden and I struggled. From the outside looking in, what more could I ask for? Except, I knew I was a mess. My inward chaos needed to discover something sacred, something real. I was forced to grapple with the trap I was setting for young women and girls, one that would become completely unsustainable. One that would be a disaster for another generation of women.

Making the transition to where I am now took a few more chapters, other creative avenues, some life lessons, and eventually a full mental breakdown… and I thank God for all of it. I decided to start over and combine my personal life experiences with my passion for wellness, to start a company that would highlight the complexities that women face daily. My daily work is to help women recognize their value, upgrade their quality of mind, get healthy, and change their lives.

Today, everything that I need to say to you revolves around one key ingredient: LOVE. I hope you’ll journey with me, as I continue to discover beauty & create inspiring content for blooming women.
